Your Twitter homepage has several elements. At the top of your page is the What are You Doing box. This is where you enter your messages. Beneath that is your personal time line, which also includes updates from people you are following. This is the most basic way to participate in Twitter, however it is not the only option. On the right side of your homepage there is a dashboard used for displaying such information like your profile picture, who is following you and who you are following. It also shows your updates, direct messages that are sent to you from other users, any favorites you have saved and icons of people you are following.
The homepage is your best tool for keeping track of all your information.
