As an example we setup an alert for www.revision-technology.com. This allows us to keep track on all content indexed in Google that incorporates our domain name. This is very useful in tracking what is being said around the web about our service, and aids in the decision making process to the way we do things. We also track trends for specific keywords, such as the recent outbreak of the swine flu. We set the alert for once a day and the type to comprehensive. Google tracks down all of the information from around the web, and once a day we receive an email with links to blogs, video, and news articles regarding the swine flu.
There are numerous ways to use this service effectively. How do you use the service?
